My Birthday Weekend

This is the man who accompanied me throughout my birthday weekend!

If you remember, my previous post was about how sad I was about my birthday..
I must say that it wasn't really that bad afterall.
My King and I went back to my Malaysia home over the weekend..
With just the whole house to ourselves = total freedom..
We blast the air-con the whole day like as if it was free..
Don't blame us, blame the weather! :D
We went in on Friday with a massive jam..
When we reached home, we just drop dead on the bed and sleep..
I tell you, it had been sooo sooo long since both of us had a good sleep.
Singapore was so so humid and the air-con was not strong enough plus
the King suffered without air-con in his house and would always
have difficulty trying to sleep..
For me, I also feel hot, but it was actually my knee pain and my back
that was so painful that I can't find a correct spot to sleep comfortably..
And I will often be in "Alpha" state.
A state of "seemingly asleep but not asleep".
I don't know if you actually experienced that before..

Surprisingly, we woke up at about 8.30am the next day,
feeling totally refreshed!
Of course, we took the privilege of lazing around on bed until we
finally want to get up and wash up and go out for our favourite meal..
Which is.. MEE HOON KUEY! :D

You probably wonder what is so nice about it..
I tell you, I MUST eat it when I go back to my Malaysia home..
I love the homemade thick thick mee hoon kuey with the money vege,
the ikan bilis, the super clear and sweet soup together with chilli padis,
and not forgetting the meat balls!
Every single thing inside is just SUPER TASTY & ADDICTIVE,
and I am not exaggerating at all..

After eating. we went to the Foot Reflexology just opposite.
I decided to pop by to check out their prices..
As you know, I fell down and was in pain for a week already..
I hope someone can massage it for me..
It was RM40 for foot massage for 60mins..
And yes, I went for it..
It was done by a Malaysian man who look abit like Ah Beng.
I was quite scared in the beginning..
However, the quote says,

Never judge its book by its cover.

So true! He was damn good!
Just touch touch my knee, he can spot out what is the problem..
He told me that my "the part behind my knee" is injured,
and said that I must have had a hard time lifting up my leg..
He said that I should have put ice pack the very day I fall, at least.
He said it would take a long time to recover..
And he went on to massage my legs..
I swear he is so good!
He is not like those typical masseur who just go,:
Step 1: this this
Step 2: that that..
He was like searching for those places that are in need of massage
and focus more on it..
And of course, he spent more time massaging my injured area for
my right leg..
And it really ease a hell of pain away..
Grateful!

And comes the best part of my birthday weekend!
My dearest boyfriend cooked pasta for me!
You might think that,
"Well, just a home-cooked pasta only what, what's so good?"

Firstly, this is a big effort to make.
He could have just easily bring me out for dinner instead.
It is the love and efforts that counts..
And it is the first time he cooks pasta..
I believe it really took him alot of courage to do it for me on my birthday~
